EIR is the musical creation of Alexandra Freyer—an American vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, songwriter, and producer.

Named after Eir, the Norse goddess of healing, the project draws inspiration from Alexandra's Nordic ancestry and lifelong fascination with the intersection of music, mythology, nature, and consciousness.

Raised on classical piano and operatic voice training, Alexandra spent her early years immersed in music and performance. But it was through years of meditation, yoga, herbalism studies, motherhood, vocal activation, and esoteric exploration that EIR was born.

Blending the etheric with the earthly, EIR creates music that bridges ancient wisdom and modern electronic sound. Weaving ancient melodies with modern beats, her work ranges from enchanted downtempo and sound healing frequencies to organic, melodic, and progressive house infused with world influences. Through soaring vocals, organic instrumentation, hypnotic rhythms, and deep emotional storytelling, she crafts immersive sonic journeys designed to awaken, heal, and inspire movement.

As both a studio and live performance artist, EIR brings these journeys beyond the stage and into transformational spaces, including ecstatic dances, conscious festivals, retreats, and immersive musical experiences. Her performances weave together DJing, live vocals, sound healing elements, and spontaneous vocal looping, creating a unique experience that blends the energy of a dance floor with the intimacy of ceremony.

Since joining Moonbabe Records in 2024, EIR has released multiple original tracks and has been featured on several label compilations and collaborative projects.

In 2026, she was featured as an artist on the Cacao Dance Volume 5 compilation released by Resueno Records, with another release scheduled for Fall 2026.

EIR's music has found homes on dance floors, meditation cushions, festival stages, and headphones around the world, serving as an invitation to remember our connection to nature, spirit, and the deeper rhythms of life.

In 2026, she will be performing at High Vibe Fest, with additional festival appearances and live performances currently being announced.

After years of living as a nomad and creating music across continents, Alexandra now calls Arizona home, while continuing to spend time in New England, Costa Rica, and Bali.
